Products for Blackheads

Blackheads can be tough to get rid of, especially if they are deep. Generally Oil based products and BHA products are best to get these out. We should be aiming to do two things, either remove the blackhead and also prevent them from occurring.

These are our top picks in no particular order. Each person reacts differently to every product and ingredient so its important to find the one that works best for you.

With 4% BHA, this chemical exfoliator removes the head skin cells and blackheads in your pores. Trust by many skincare youtubers, this is one of the best selling Essences for controlling oily skin that are prone to blackheads. Be careful though, it is pretty strong. Try to slowly ease this product into your skin routine and also make sure you wear sunscreen after using it.

2 – [SOME BY MI] Bye Bye Blackhead Cleanser

This cleanser is extremely powerful! Place it on dry skin and it will foam up. After 3 minutes, give it a rub and then wash it off. It uses Green Tea extract and Natural BHA to help get rid of blackheads as well as sebum that can form into blackheads. Because this cleanser can be drying, don’t do it everyday and make sure you hydrate your skin well after.

3 – [ISNTREE] CLEAR SKIN BHA TONER

The isntree uses BHA like the other two products before. It helps remove dead skin and keratin, cleans pores and also smoothes and hydrates the skin. Great for oily, acne prone, sensitive skin.

Ok, so technically this isn’t a skincare item, and we don’t really sell them, but one of the most underated items in your arsenal to combat blackheads is a simple pore brush. You wouldn’t wash dishes with your bare fingers would you? Then why would you wash your face without the proper tool!.
